Over the years, several national brand pet foods have been recalled due to toxic mold in the grains used to make the foods, most recently in the past 30 days due to Aflatoxin fungus found in the grains. From recent reports Diamond Dog food manufacturer of Chicken Soup, Kirkland, Costco. Addition brands such as Old Roy, Science Diet, Eukanuba, Iams, to mention a few had been recalled. The use of these ingredients may be associated with dry skin, allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and general organ dysfunction. The average dog (44 lbs) can consume 26 pounds of preservative each year. FLINT RIVER RANCH - Puppy and Adult Original Kibble Formula
The "Original" Flint River Ranch ideal for all stages of life. This forumla provides an excellent diet for puppies so we do not offer a "Puppy Formula" All Flint River formulas are "TWICE" OVEN-BAKED under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures, resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your pet. The Flint River Ranch Chicken, Rice, Lamb and Wheat formula is nutritionally complete and balanced for all stages of your pet's life. Flint River's Chicken Meal and other meat sources do not contain poultry by-products or other by products like chicken feet, chicken heads, duck heads, beaks, feathers, fish heads, hides, hoofs and intestines. There are no breakfast food by-products, corn, cottonseed, corn cobs, citrus pulp, soy beans, fillers and no screening or other foreight materials such as noxious weeds, straw, hulls or chaff in our products. Most brands of dog food include some of these by-products and chemical preservatives. The use of low quality products and chemical preservatives may be associated with dry skin, allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and degenerative organ function. There is no sprayed-on additive or greasy coasting to make the tase acceptable. Ordinary dog foods are extruded under high pressure and extreme temperatures and then sprayed with fat and other products in order to encourage dogs to eat. Oven baking changes hard to digest starches into easy to digest dextrin's which are readily absorbed into your dog's system. The secret to Flint River Ranch's great nutrition is how many nutrients are present in the dog's food and how efficiently they are utilized when digested. The good value is baked in, not sprayed on. FEEDING GUIDE: Flint River Foods are high density which means you feed 20%-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers so you will notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up. Feed your dog once or twice a day. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog and exercise activity. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight. (So you can easily feel their rib cage. FLINT RIVER RANCH DOG FOOD - Large Nuggets
Flint River Ranch Large Nugget Food is about 1/4" x 5/8" rectangular in shape and is designed for larger breeds. It is the same formula as the Puppy and Adult Kibble, however it has a harder darker edge. Some pet owners feel the over-baked larger nugget shape is better for the dog's teeth and gums.

The production process of premium quality, Trout, Menhaden Fish, Ground Millet, Grapeseed oil, Flaxseed, Rosemary, chelated minerals, natural Tocopherols (antioxidant), along with probiotics and digestive enzymes, synergistically provide the very finest for food-sensitive adult dogs.
